About

History

I grew up in a home with my grandfather's coin collection, my grandmother's shell collection, my father's mineral and fossil collection. Growing up I added to this with insect collections, stamp collections, bone collections and others. We built a chemistry labratory and stocked it with finds from industrial auctions. I was perhaps the only high schooler who had emission, UV and IR spectrometers in his home lab.

My love for the sciences and the sharing of knowledge and discoveries has continued to grow and my collections have overflowed my home and garage and so I needed to find a better way to share them.
